Hi! I’m Nigel, and I run Gardner Films.
I work quietly, blending into the background and working smoothly alongside your photographer. My own life is documented through film. Small moments, travels, and time spent with family and friends are captured so they are never forgotten. That perspective shapes how I approach every wedding I film.
I’m currently planning my own wedding in February 2027,so I totally get how overwhelming it is to have so much choice in suppliers. I absolutely love this job though, and I promise to make things as easy for you as possible.
Filming Across the Cotswolds and Beyond
I’m based in Stroud, in the Cotswolds, and film weddings across Gloucestershire, Bristol, Worcestershire, and throughout the UK. If you’re looking for a wedding film that feels natural, thoughtful, and emotionally honest, something you will come back to for the rest of your lives, I would love to tell your story properly.

I ‘d like to give you a clear look at my style and the real stories I capture. Every wedding is different, and this is where I share those unique moments and emotions.
Jess & Callum chose to get married at Cefn Tilla Court, Usk in July 2026. This place was quite unique! The sun was out all day and the outdoor ceremony space was truly what wedding dreams are made of..! Jess & Callum had prepared some gorgeous vows for the ceremony which really helped me to create a special film for them.

As your videographer at Gardner Films, I stay out of the way and let the day unfold naturally. You won’t need to change your plans for the camera.
I use professional but simple equipment so I can move quietly and film without drawing attention. Your wedding film will feel natural, emotional, and true to the atmosphere of your day.

Why choose me?
Coming from a musical background, I have a real passion for capturing audio on the day. That’s why I’m keen to record voices as much as possible - scattering mini interviews throughout my wedding videos really breathes life into the films.
I try to imagine the person watching your film in 20 or 30 years from now. What would make them feel something? Emotion is everything in a wedding day and I’m keen to capture as much of it as I can.
My aim is to deliver professional-quality films without the premium studio price. Your wedding video doesn’t need to cost a fortune, it simply needs to tell your story. So, if you feel any connection to my work then of course I’d love to hear from you!

I honestly can't quite believe I'm writing this.
Gardner Films has only been going for just over a year, so to be named a Regional Finalist in both the Wedding Videographer and Best Newcomer categories at The Wedding Industry Awards means a huge amount to me.
I've put a lot into building Gardner Films over the last year, but the best part has been the people I've met along the way and the couples who have trusted me to film such an important day for them.
A massive thank you to everyone who has supported me, recommended me, booked me and, of course, voted for me.
