Royal Agricultural University Wedding Film

Filming Timeless Weddings at the Royal Agricultural University

There’s something rather special about arriving at the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester for a wedding. Set in the heart of the Cotswolds, the university’s historic setting offers a distinctive backdrop for a day filled with love, laughter and celebration. I recently had the pleasure of filming Victoria & Jack’s wedding at the Royal Agricultural University, and it was exactly the kind of occasion that lends itself to natural, story-led wedding films.

From the ceremony and the surrounding grounds to the celebrations with family and friends, the venue provided opportunities for creating varied, cinematic imagery while keeping the focus on the couple and their story. As a wedding videographer, that combination is particularly valuable. The setting adds character to the film, but it’s the people, moments and atmosphere of the wedding that take centre stage.

Victoria & Jack - Royal Agricultural University

Set in the heart of Gloucestershire, the Royal Agricultural University is a beautiful and historic venue with real character.

I had the pleasure of filming Victoria and Jacks wedding there, capturing the key moments of their day as everything unfolded around them. Their December 2025 (#merryandmarried) wedding was a fantastic celebration, and having the university as their venue made it even more special, giving the day an impressive and memorable backdrop.

Founded in 1845, the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester is full of history and character. Its stone buildings, elegant Great Hall and quiet chapel make it a beautiful setting for a wedding.

As a wedding videographer, I enjoy filming here. The open courtyards and classic architecture create clean, timeless visuals, while the surrounding countryside adds a calm and natural feel to the day. It’s an impressive venue that still feels warm and welcoming - perfect for couples who want a setting with both style and substance.

What Makes Wedding Videography Special at The Royal Agricultural University?

A Historic Setting

The Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester is a beautiful place to get married. The stone buildings, large halls, quiet chapel, and open courtyards give couples plenty of space to celebrate while still feeling relaxed and welcoming.

When I film weddings here, my job is simple: to capture the real moments of the day so couples can look back and remember exactly how it felt.

Real Moments

The most meaningful parts of a wedding aren’t staged. They’re the quick smiles, the nervous laugh before the ceremony, the hugs after the confetti, and the laughter during the speeches.

I film in a natural, low-key way so nothing feels forced. This helps me capture honest reactions and real emotion - the kind of moments that matter most when you watch your film back years later.

A Venue That Works All Year

One of the best things about the Royal Agricultural University is that it looks great in every season. In summer, the grounds feel bright and open. In autumn and winter, the stone buildings and indoor spaces feel warm and cosy.

No matter the weather, it’s a setting that gives your day a strong and beautiful backdrop.

Filming Your Wedding Here

It’s always a pleasure to film at the Royal Agricultural University. The mix of history, countryside surroundings, and well-kept grounds makes it a special place to celebrate.

My wedding package includes a 2-3 minute Highlights Film, and a 10 -15 minute Feature Film. The full film brings together the best moments from across your wedding, along with audio from your vows and speeches, so you can relive it all whenever you like.
